Job Description

SREs combine development and operations knowledge to improve an organization's reliability. If you have SRE or development experience, you can benefit others with your skills.

As a senior SRE, you'll help achieve reliability goals by working with product development teams and other SRE teams to ensure effective observability and improve product reliability.

You'll use cloud operations, software development lifecycle, and Observability tools expertise to help. We focus on automation for continuous improvement and rewarding success with recognition and upward mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enlighten, enable, and empower multi-disciplinary teams.

• Tackle complex problems, championing standards and best practices.

• Ensure scalability, performance, and resilience of products and processes.

• Work with product development teams and other SRE teams to identify and resolve observability gaps.

• Develop build, test, and deployment automation targeting multiple regions.

• Give back by working on Open-Source projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must Have:

• Excellent communication skills and distributed team experience.

• Passion for improving things for peers.

• AWS management experience and application operational knowledge.

• Scripting language proficiency (Typescript, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Bash).

• SDLC methodologies experience (preferably Agile).

• Observability (Logging, Metrics, Tracing) and SLI/SLO experience.

• APM, monitoring, and logging tool experience (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).

• Containerization concepts understanding (docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).

• Self-motivation and minimal supervision ability.

Good to Have:

• Infrastructure as Code tools experience (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).

• 3-tier application stack management experience.

• Basic networking concepts understanding.

• Server configuration experience (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).

• NoSQL database experience (MongoDB, Couchbase, Postgres).
