Your role in our mission

The Human Resources Information Systems/Personnel Operations Specialist will provide support in the areas of recruitment, employment, new business, employee reassignment, personnel records, labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, AA/EEO, and special projects at Gainwell Technologies.

This role involves supporting the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures, disseminating information through employee booklets, communications, and meetings.

The specialist will prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organizational needs, providing necessary human resources information to appropriate parties.

As a liaison between employees and/or managers and the organization, the specialist will interpret personnel policies and procedures, resolve employee concerns, and process necessary paperwork for new hires, benefits enrollment, terminations, etc.

Additionally, the specialist will enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems, ensuring that employee documentation is current.

Research and compilation of information for analysis of human resources operations, and preparation of special projects as assigned, are also key responsibilities of this role.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Three or more years of human resources experience are required.
  • Experience working with human resources principles, practices, and procedures is necessary.
  • Experience working with corporate and legal employment-related policies is required.
  • Experience working with human resources information systems (HRIS) is also necessary.

  • Communication skills are necessary for this role.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
  • Personal computer and business solutions software skills are required.
  • Ability to identify, understand, and apply federal, state, and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources is necessary.
  • Ability to work in a team environment is also required.

  • This role is based in an office environment.
