Data Governance Specialist

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization that requires exceptional skills in data engineering and architecture. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure highest standards of data quality and performance. This includes collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Your expertise in data integration tools like Apache Spark, Kafka & Airflow will be essential in implementing and maintaining data integration solutions. Additionally, your proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala) will enable you to develop ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering & architecture, is required for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise on Data Integration, processing & Storage
  • Expertise on Data optimization architecture, data process and data flow
  • Knowledge of Data integration tools like Apache Spark, Kafka & Airflow
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services
