We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials from both local vendors and international suppliers.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating prices, quantities, and delivery times with vendors. They will also be expected to track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

  • Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
  • Manage supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices
  • Ensure all criteria are met according to organizational requirements and expectation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Higher Graduate or Diploma in Procurement or equivalent certifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers
  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent worker
