Front-End Developer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining the client side of our Shopify e-commerce platform using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and customize Shopify themes to meet business needs
  • Evaluate UI/UX designs for technical feasibility and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability
  • Create reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely project completion
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, applying them to development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Shopify experience required
  • Proficiency in DOM manipulation
  • Strong CSS skills
  • Expertise in Git
  • Liquid framework knowledge (a must)
  • Asynchronous JavaScript knowledge and experience
  • GraphQL knowledge
  • React JS knowledge

Additional Information:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Familiarity with Git and Github
Key Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify including Liquid syntax, Shopify Objects, customizer, meta fields, and the Shopify admin panel
  • Experience working with JavaScript and related libraries, such as jQuery and Vue.js
  • Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors
  • Familiarity with responsive design and media queries
