Job Description:

The Regional Sales Manager Specialty Fats is a key role responsible for leading and managing the sales strategy for specialty fats in the Central region. This position involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets for specialty fats products.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Leading and managing a team of sales executives, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
  • Monitoring market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Conducting sales presentations, negotiations, and contract finalizations with potential clients.
  • Ensuring timely reporting of sales metrics and providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of specialty fats products and their applications.
  • Working closely with the supply chain and production teams to manage product availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the brand and expand market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 10 years in the specialty fats or food ingredients industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
