Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead our warehouse operations team in delivering seamless day-to-day activities. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while adhering to company policies and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space utilization, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Operations:
    • Ensure timely unloading, verification, and put-away of goods as per standard operating procedures.
    • Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and procurement for smooth inward flow.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
    • Monitor storage, shelf-life, and first-in-first-out/fifo-last-in-first-out (fefo) adherence.
  • Outbound Operations:
    • Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of goods as per customer and business requirements.
    • Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners to achieve on-time deliveries.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Adhere to warehouse safety standards, security protocols, and statutory requirements.
    • Support internal and external audits with proper documentation and compliance.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting:
    • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Generate and maintain daily/weekly/monthly management information system (mis) reports (inbound, outbound, stock levels, damages, etc.).
  • Team & Coordination:
    • Support warehouse staff and ensure task completion as per operational priorities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, customer service, transport).
