Software Engineer Role

About the Role

The software engineer role encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure we build products right and release them with high quality. From Sales Cloud to Industries Clouds, from IoT to Analytics to Heroku, we have many opportunities across various applications and platforms.

Your Impact
  • Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products and applications.
  • Mastery of our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it.
  • Optimal operation in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are expected to design and execute vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers.
  • Close collaboration with teams of engineers, product managers, user experience experts, and performance engineers.
  • Presentation of your own designs to internal and external groups, review of others' designs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C++, etc.).
  • Proven understanding of web application development.
  • Experience in database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database schema design.
  • Automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JUnit, and Selenium.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
