Agile Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Agile Project Manager to oversee the development of new products and enhancements using agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage software/web development projects using agile methodology, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams of product managers, developers, and QA testers to resource, define, and schedule activities required to develop and launch new software.
  • Define and enforce best project management practices to optimize team performance and productivity.
  • Coordinate all production releases, including weekly maintenance releases, to ensure seamless deployment and minimal disruption.
  • Provide management-level reporting on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
  • Administrate JIRA boards, projects, users, and permissions to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration.
  • Communicate release notes to marketing/sales following releases to maintain transparency and alignment.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment, preferably with experience in varied Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP).
  • Experience managing projects among distributed teams spanning different geographies and cultures.
  • Understanding of web development technologies and ability to follow technical discussions and bridge communications between stakeholders and developers.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to help product managers formulate/articulate a decision on the course of action.
  • Quick learner, able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable.
  • Positive, committed, and selfless, willing to pitch in and help others when needed.
  • Organized, meticulous, patient, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexible to shifting business priorities.
