Job Title: Instructional Leadership Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic professional to join our team as an Instructional Leadership Position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs, conducting research, and engaging in various departmental and institutional activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lecture Delivery

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions as per university syllabus. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.

  • Course Planning

  • Prepare lesson plans, course files, and teaching materials that align with the university's curriculum goals.

  • Tutorial Supervision

  • Supervise undergraduate students on their projects, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion.

  • Research Focus

  • Conduct quality research in relevant engineering fields, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.

  • Grant Applications

  • Identify and apply for research grants, consultancy projects, and patents to secure funding for research initiatives.

  • Departmental Activities

  • Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to academic planning, and coordinate seminars, FDPs, and workshops.

  • Student Support

  • Provide mentorship to students, encouraging them to maintain discipline and cleanliness within the department.

  • Institutional Contributions

  • Promote industry-institute collaborations, participate in exam duties, and contribute to institutional accreditations (NBA/NAAC/AICTE).

  • Extension Activities

  • Engage in extension and outreach activities, coordinating with industries and research bodies to foster partnerships.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A doctoral degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching, research, and departmental activities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching aids, ICT tools, and software applications.
