We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and Java script.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber. You will write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. This includes performing functional, regression, and integration testing for payment applications involving wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes.

You will analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Additionally, you will maintain and execute automated test suites as part of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

This role also requires participation in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Furthermore, you will document test strategies, plans, and results for audit and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine such as OPF is desirable.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git Bitbucket).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
