We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Automation Testing with over 5 to 9 years of proven expertise in driving end-to-end automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should demonstrate deep technical knowledge in Java, Selenium, TestNG, Appium, and API testing using Rest Assured. This role demands not only hands-on technical proficiency but also strong leadership skills to guide a team of testers and define automation strategies across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Appium.
  • Define and enforce automation best practices, coding standards, and test strategies across the QA team.
  • Lead functional, regression, integration, and API automation testing using Rest Assured.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and align testing goals.
  • Review and validate test scripts developed by team members for coverage, performance, and maintainability.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
  • Troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide effective, long-term resolutions.
  • Mentor and manage QA team members, ensuring quality, productivity, and alignment with project goals.

Required Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Appium, and Rest Assured.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and experience with test management tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, etc.
