Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Business Systems Specialist to drive our business forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining business requirements, designing business systems, supporting configurations, and preparing development specifications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP and PROS platforms, with a strong background in configuration, integration, and development. They will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The role involves translating business requirements into system configurations, documenting the configuration required if complex or unique, working on developing, testing, and migrating the configuration to production, and resolving problems via the PROS ticketing software.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems.

- Minimum 5 years' experience with PROS Control & Guidance and Smart CPQ.

- Must have PROS Analytics and Pricing 301 certifications.

- Nice to have: 3 years' experience in SAP ECC/S4 Sales and Distribution – Pricing requirements and formula routines.

- Experience with Oracle/PLSQL, XML, HTML, and Java is a plus.

- English as a first or second language, sufficient for telephone consulting, email, training, and documentation in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with business users, management, and other cross-functional teams to understand defined business requirements.
  • Document the functional business requirements in a requirements document.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure complete requirements are defined and understood.
  • Lead blueprinting sessions with external vendors and global cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate solutions to business requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Provide an estimate of the cost and clearly vet/define risks.
  • Recommend programming enhancements when no standard solution is possible.
  • Translate business requirements into configuration with help from other team members.
  • Document the configuration required if complex or unique.
  • Work to develop, test, and migrate the required configuration to production.
