Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical system design and development, with expertise in developing complex electronic systems for avionics and other electronic systems in aerospace projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of electronic components with mechanical systems into unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead complex electronics system design, analysis, and integration as a deep technical expert.
  • Design state-of-the-art solutions for challenging applications with proficiency in mechanical engineering.
Design & Development:
  • Responsible for designing high-precision electro-mechanical systems that meet stringent safety and performance requirements.
  • Define selection criteria for key electronics & mechanical components, test, and validate them for use in different sub-systems.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate embedded systems with mechanical systems, ensuring alignment in design parameters and tolerance considerations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure robustness and integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with embedded software development & mechanical systems proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.
  • Experience in designing electro-mechanical/robotic systems through strong technical fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in designing electronic circuits and embedded system circuits using microcontrollers with strong fundamentals in Electronics.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and modifying circuits, wiring, and PCB layouts.
  • Knowledge in Embedded C/C++ and familiarity with embedded software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, robotics, Aeronautical (Avionics).
  • Strong electro-mechanical design instincts and a thorough understanding of dynamics & control.
  • Hands-on expertise in housing electronic & circuit assembly.
  • Working/basics Knowledge of parametric modelling CAD software.
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Deep appreciation for technology evolution and modern engineering practices, deployed in world-class product development processes.
