Job Title: Paediatric Oncology Nutritionist

Role Overview:

As a skilled Paediatric Oncology Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in managing the nutritional needs of children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized diet plans for each child based on their medical condition, growth, and development needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's health and nutritional needs, using anthropometric measurements such as height, weight, and BMI.
  • Provide counselling sessions to promote good food habits and emotional support to both children and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of counselling sessions for impact mapping, monitoring, evaluation, and case study development.
  • Collaborate with hospital doctors and nurses to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with medical standards.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of paediatric oncology and haematology, including current research and advancements in nutritional science.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
