As a Supply Chain Strategist, you will be responsible for leading research and analysis of existing and potential value chains in our program sites. This involves designing methodologies, conducting stakeholder consultations, and generating evidence-based insights to inform promotion strategies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in scoping and analyzing value chains with a sustainability lens. You will design and implement approaches, conduct stakeholder engagements, and generate reports to inform business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical discussions on prioritization and analysis of value chains.
  • Identify essential stakeholder groups and develop robust survey instruments.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and field surveys.

You will also be responsible for drafting and delivering high-quality reports, including value chain maps and sustainability analysis, and coordinating closely with project stakeholders throughout the assignment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • English proficiency.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in sustainability, natural resources management, and/or nature-based businesses, with a focus on supply chain analysis and promotion activities.

Desirable skills include advanced skills in supply chain analysis, including sustainability dimensions, as well as survey design, stakeholder engagement, and interview facilitation.
