Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and efficient backend systems using Java.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database application capabilities with limited oversight.

  • Designing and implementing high-quality code that meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Acting as a member of the team, supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure project and team success.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in developing microservices and cloud native apps using Java(17/21)/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring Boot Framework, MVC, and WebFlux.
  • Experience working with messaging frameworks like Kafka.
  • Strong understanding of unit testing using frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, and JBehave.
  • Build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of CI/CD process.
  • Experience with relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.
