Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in ETL development and hands-on expertise in migrating workflows to a modern data platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing data integration processes, driving the transition to a new platform, and ensuring high performance and data integrity throughout the migration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robust data pipelines using IBM DataStage.

2. Manage and maintain data integration workflows that support critical business operations, especially within the collections domain.

3. Ensure smooth data movement from diverse source systems to data warehouses and analytical platforms.

4. Collaborate with stakeholders from the collections business unit to understand data needs and reporting requirements.

5. Work with datasets related to customer accounts, payments, delinquencies, recovery efforts, and compliance processes.

6. Play a key role in the migration of existing ETL jobs to the new platform.

7. Analyze and interpret existing job logic and dependencies for effective re-platforming.

8. Refactor and optimize jobs within the new platform's service.

9. Address migration-specific technical challenges while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage ETL development.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in writing complex SQL queries.

- Direct experience with DataStage job migration is mandatory.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing data workflows and transformations.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
