Cloud Data Specialist

We seek a Cloud Data Specialist with strong expertise in the Google Cloud stack to contribute to our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Google BigQuery / Google SQL to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Develop efficient scripts in Python, Go, or Perl to manipulate and transform data.
  • Experience with MapReduce frameworks is beneficial.
Advanced Analysis & Visualization
  • Design and implement reports and dashboards using Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio.
  • Create compelling visualizations to present findings and communicate insights effectively.
Problem Solving & Pipeline Development
  • Identify data engineering requirements and design robust data pipelines.
  • Use data-driven insights to propose solutions and actionable recommendations.
Performance Optimization
  • Analyze SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance query performance.
  • Apply techniques such as Indexing, Partitioning, Parallel Processing, Caching, Efficient Storage Formats (Parquet/ORC), and In-memory Computing.
Scheduling & Automation
  • Schedule and manage workflows using tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers.
Release Engineering
  • Support on-demand and scheduled release management processes for data pipelines.
