Job Position:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in automated testing? We seek a skilled Automation Tester to join our QA team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, leverage modern testing frameworks, and contribute to building scalable automation solutions that enhance our development lifecycle.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications using modern frameworks and tools.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing, ensuring coverage across platforms and releases.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Development, Product) to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and validate features.
  • Enhance, optimize, and scale automation frameworks to ensure reusability, maintainability, and efficiency.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to QA methodologies, coding standards, and best practices in automation testing.
  • Generate and share detailed test reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide visibility into product quality.
  • Contribute ideas for improving testing processes, tools, and automation practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on Experience

  • Automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js for scripting and test automation.
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Strong understanding of databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle) for test data validation.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
