Job Summary

As a control and protection engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems. Your key tasks include designing HVDC protection logics and algorithms, developing protection functions and solutions, performing power system protection coordination, and coordinating with stakeholders to optimize HVDC solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced HVDC protection systems and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HVDC systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Perform thorough analysis and testing of HVDC systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to HVDC systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVDC technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-6 years of experience in control and protection systems, preferably in HVDC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PSCAD, MATLAB, or similar simulation software.
  • Basic knowledge of IEEE and IEC standards.
  • Experience working in substation environments and protection applications is highly desirable.
