Costing Asst. Manager Role

This is a specialized position that oversees the timely completion of CCPM project cost settlements and protects profit margins by adhering to internal customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Settlement of costs with suppliers using Zero Base Costing (ZBC) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies.
  • Ongoing monitoring and analysis of commodity expenses to optimize financial performance.
  • Audit and negotiation of raw material prices with suppliers to minimize input costs.
  • Regular settlement of Machine Hour Rates (MHR) with suppliers for various processes.
  • Negotiation of supplier claims with thorough analysis.
Required Skills:
  • Analytical skills in costing and financial analysis, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Presentation and communication skills to effectively negotiate with suppliers.
  • Negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing.
Knowledge Requirements:
  • In-depth process understanding of draw, forming, machining, surface finishing, and rubber/injection molding/blow molding processes.
  • Familiarity with raw material grades and quality systems.
  • Knowledge of existing tax structures and regulatory compliance.
