Investment Portfolio Manager

The Investment Portfolio Manager plays a vital role in providing bespoke investment and financial planning services to clients.

This position involves assessing clients' financial needs, developing tailored investment strategies, and ensuring that their investment portfolios align with their long-term objectives.

  • Create customized investment strategies and asset allocation plans based on clients' objectives, risk profiles, and financial situations.
  • Utilize financial modelling and forecasting tools to analyze investment opportunities and recommend appropriate investment products.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and investment products to provide up-to-date and relevant advice.

Monitor clients' investment portfolios, including performance tracking, rebalancing, and making adjustments as necessary.

Ensure all investment recommendations and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and firm policies.

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and updates to clients, including performance metrics, market insights, and portfolio changes.
  • Educate clients on investment concepts, market trends, and financial planning strategies to help them make informed decisions.
  • Provide clear and timely communication regarding investment performance, market developments, and potential impacts on clients' portfolios.
  • Organize and lead client seminars, workshops, and informational sessions on relevant investment topics.

Collaborate with other financial professionals, such as financial planners, tax advisors, and estate planners, to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of investment strategies and best practices.
  • Assist in mentoring and training junior staff or new team members as needed.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management, financial planning, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of financial markets and investment products.
  • Proficiency in financial software, portfolio management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
