Visual Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will play a crucial role in creating impactful visual presentations and designs that effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop engaging visuals that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience. This will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create new ideas and concepts, developing interactive communication design, and meeting with clients or account managers to discuss business objectives and requirements.
You will also be responsible for presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers, demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches, and working on layouts ready for print.
In addition, you will work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists to deliver on deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
To succeed in this role, you must be proactive and able to coordinate handoffs, share context, and align on shared goals. You should also stay current on design trends, software updates, and best practices.
We value your contributions and encourage you to contribute ideas for process improvements and new visual approaches. You will also assist in internal design reviews and share learnings with the team.
Requirements- 2-3 years of professional experience in visual design, preferably in a creative agency or design studio
- Bachelor's degree preferred in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across various mediums
- Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, and design principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
