Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Expert to provide comprehensive production support for tax management systems and their integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.

This role requires both taxation expertise and technical troubleshooting capabilities to ensure accurate tax calculations and seamless system operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax across different jurisdictions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot tax calculation rules, tax jurisdictions, and product taxability assignments
  • Support ERP integrations with tax management systems
  • Ensure accuracy of tax rates, exemptions, and tax determinations
  • Manage tax configuration, tax categories, and exemption certificates within the tax management system
  • Support tax reporting and compliance, including generating reports for tax filing and audit purposes
  • Handle tax accruals and reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy
  • Receive, analyze, and prioritize related support tickets
  • Provide timely solutions to users
  • Document resolution steps and knowledge base articles
  • Support system upgrades and patches
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
  • Perform SQL and data analysis by querying ERP and tax management system databases for tax calculations, transaction history, and reconciliation
  • Troubleshoot ERP-tax management system integration issues, including debugging tax calculation
Requirements

7+ years of experience in taxation and technical troubleshooting

Familiarity with tax management systems and their integration with ERP platforms

Expertise in Indirect Taxation including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax
