Financial Operations Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to perform day-to-day tasks, maintain service level agreements, and resolve customer queries related to cash application.

This role involves making collection calls, emailing/faxing invoices, and coordinating with customers. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cash allocation processes, including validation and reporting.

  1. Making timely collection calls to customers, sending invoices via email or fax as requested, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  2. Understanding all aspects of cash allocation, including deep validation and reporting to stakeholders.
  3. Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances and maintaining accurate records.
  4. Collaborating closely with AR teams to track aged receivables and ensure compliance with SLAs.
  5. Serving as a subject matter expert for AR processes, with a deep understanding of the AR value chain and experience working with real estate clients preferred.
  6. Developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures and implementing process improvements.
  7. Providing exceptional customer service and resolving internal disputes and customer queries.
  8. Reconciling orders to match customer books and validating credits/debits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Relevant experience in Account Receivable processes, particularly cash application.
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
