Visual Arts Professor Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Visual Arts Professor to join our academic community. As a key member of our faculty, you will contribute to the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Visual Arts, incorporating innovative teaching methods and interdisciplinary approaches.

Your expertise in contemporary and traditional art practices will enable you to design curriculum and course content that aligns with industry trends and emerging artistic movements. You will also be responsible for supervising student projects, dissertations, and research work, fostering a culture of creativity and intellectual curiosity.

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating technology and digital tools to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and course content that reflects industry standards and best practices.
  • Mentor students in their academic, creative, and professional pursuits, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
  • Engage in academic research, exhibitions, publications, and creative practices in the field of Visual Arts, staying abreast of the latest developments in the field.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Visual Arts/Fine Arts or equivalent with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
  • D. in Visual Arts or relevant discipline is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience at university/college level, with evidence of published research/artistic work.
