Visual Arts Faculty Position

We are seeking an accomplished educator to join our faculty as a Visual Arts Professor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, and engaging in academic research and creative practices.


About the Role:
  • Taught courses in painting, sculpture, applied arts, digital art practices, and art history.
  • Supervised student projects, dissertations, and research work.
  • Developed curriculum and course content aligned with industry trends and best practices.
  • Engaged in research, exhibitions, publications, and creative projects in visual arts.
  • Mentored students in their academic, creative, and professional pursuits.
  • Participated in departmental and university committees, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions.
  • Built collaborations with art institutions, galleries, and cultural bodies.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary and traditional art practices.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology and interdisciplinary approaches in art education.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to engage in collaborative research and creative projects.
  • Passion for experiential learning and student-centered pedagogy.
  • Master's Degree in Visual Arts/Fine Arts or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
  • Ph.D. in Visual Arts or relevant discipline is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience at university/college level.
