Chief Technology Strategist

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation and technology strategies for our organisation. This role oversees key product development and requires driving cutting-edge solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage your expertise in architecture and design of enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
• Lead 4-5 product engineering scrum teams, helping evolve roadmaps and execute them to meet organisational goals and vision
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to development teams, including code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to support solution development.
• Experience working in modern technology stacks, including cloud, DevOps, security, and automation.
• Create architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and technology evaluations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-native development, design patterns like DDD, event-driven, and integration patterns.
• Strategic Leadership: Execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for several portfolios of products, encompassing user experience, architecture, development, deployment, and release using shared services offered by cloud and AI. Align these strategies with broader business objectives and client needs.
• Development and Architecture – Strong development and architecture experience having built enterprise-level scalable and high-available platforms supporting large volume usages.
• Innovation and Thought Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation by staying at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies. Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions that leverage digital experience platforms, cloud-native architectures.
• Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a diverse team of engineers, architects, product, testers, and consultants. Drive a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration across teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Solution Delivery: Partner with stakeholders, sales, marketing, operations to understand their challenges and incorporate their feedback and suggestions in our products' offerings. Oversee the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that exceed clients/users/stakeholders' expectations.
• Performance Culture Enforcer: Establish best practices, frameworks, and standards for each domain. Drive the adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and other modern methodologies as per industry standards to enhance delivery efficiency and quality. Performance-driven teams with clear goals and focus.
• Technology Oversight: Provide guidance on the use of modern technologies, including cloud platforms - Azure, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IoT/mqtt.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other leaders, business units, and shared services to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to product delivery. Lead initiatives that span multiple disciplines to drive comprehensive transformation for our customers.
• Business Development: Support sales and business development activities by providing expertise during client pitches, RFP responses, SBR, MBR, and proposals. Identify opportunities for expanding service offerings and increasing market share.

Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 15+ years of work experience in a leadership position driving large enterprise-grade software development.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies, including Agile/Safe Agile.
• Expertise in building software applications and leading teams.
• High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to function under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to quickly learn and implement new technologies, application-appropriate frameworks, and tools.
• Strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organisational skills with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation. Able to work as a member of matrix-based diverse and geographically distributed project teams.

• Competent in building high-performing and secure applications with excellent knowledge of architecture, design, performance, and security principles.
