Job Overview

This Senior Test Engineer role is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of Treasury trading platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies to validate front-to-back workflows across trading, risk, settlements, confirmations, and accounting.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and developers to understand product requirements and deliver thorough test coverage.
  • Prioritize defects and ensure timely resolution through effective logging, tracking, retesting, and closure using industry-standard tools like JIRA/ALM.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Treasury/Capital Markets products, including FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Swaps, Options, and Derivatives.
  • Hands-on testing experience with Treasury trading platforms (preferably FM Converge; Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, or similar).
  • Excellent understanding of trade lifecycle – deal capture, pricing, risk, settlements, confirmations, accounting.
  • Experience in test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, or Python-based test automation) is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience working with FM Converge platform specifically.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, reconciliation, and settlement systems.
  • Exposure to cloud-based deployments and DevOps practices (CI/CD).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CFA – preferred but not mandatory)
