Job Description

As a Programmer Systems Engineer, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Lead Programmer on simple programs like turning programs, milling programs using NX and GKAM.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Modifying existing NX programs
  • Creating simple programs using GKAM
  • Modifying existing NX cam files without automation
  • Creating Grinding programs

You will also be responsible for checking your own programs against a checklist and providing regular feedback to your supervisor.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with CAD skills, basic drawing reading knowledge of NX modeling, and drafting. You should also be familiar with CAM template basics, GKAM documentation, and Vericut.

In addition, you should have a basic understanding of manufacturing operations and processes, including machining, forming, pressing, forging, extrusion, and cutting tool operations.

You will work with ER using ECTR and identify drawing PC status. You should also have knowledge of CNC machines, engineering mathematics, and fundamental calculations like force, speed, feed, moment, torque, and vibrations.

A strong foundation in quality management is essential, as you will interpret checklists, check your own programs, and provide feedback to your supervisor.
