Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves translating product ideas into manufacturable designs, driving standardization, and ensuring customer feedback is incorporated into every iteration.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of engineering experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector. A strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and maintain technical product drawings for products.
  2. Work with manufacturing teams to standardize manufacturing processes as per drawings.
  3. Collaborate with design and operations to balance aesthetics, function, and manufacturability.
  4. Integrate user/customer feedback into product development cycles.
  5. Conduct feasibility studies on new designs, materials, and joinery methods.
  6. Support quality checks and product testing for durability, ergonomics, and usability.
  7. Maintain documentation and ensure version control for product designs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

A problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical implementation, exposure to product testing and standardization, and a passion for design and interest in the furniture/home lifestyle industry are essential.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.

Detailed technical knowledge of CAD software and experience working with manufacturing teams are highly desirable.
