Job Overview:

This role leads the analysis of loan repayment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will leverage internal and external data to build collection strategies and manage team performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical insights to inform operational and product strategy for loan repayment.
  • Create effective collection strategies utilizing both internal and external data sources.
  • Manage a team within the collections department to ensure optimal workload distribution.
  • Monitor repayment metrics and influence vendor strategies to maximize repayment at minimal cost.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and collaborate with Product and Risk teams to drive strategic initiatives across collections and recoveries.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong quantitative background in fields such as engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, or business.
  • At least 5 years' experience in data analysis and database management using SQL and tools like Python, R, and Databricks Analytics.
  • An analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, allowing seamless collaboration with stakeholders across teams.
