About This Opportunity

As a seasoned data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's analytical prowess by developing cutting-edge data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. You will collaborate closely with DW/BI leads to understand new ETL pipeline development requirements and drive technical discussions with client architects and team members.

This position is ideal for an individual who possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of star and snowflake dimensional modeling, and hands-on experience with SQL and Spark (PySpark). You should also have expertise in designing and implementing Snowflake objects, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data including imaging & geospatial data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and ADF.
  • Providing forward-thinking solutions in the data engineering and analytics space.
  • Collaborating with DW/BI leads to understand new ETL pipeline development requirements.
  • Triage issues to find gaps in existing pipelines and fix them.
  • Working with business to understand reporting needs and develop a data model to fulfill those needs.
  • Helping joiner team members resolve issues and technical challenges.
