Procurement and Contract Management Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Management Specialist to lead our Procurement & Contracts team for a Power Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, developing and executing contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Performance-based operation and maintenance contracts
• Power plant equipment spares
• Vendor sourcing and new vendor development
• Effective negotiation and conflict management
• Clean sheet costing
• Draft contract preparation, MOUs, and other agreements

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet business objectives
• Managing the procurement process from bid evaluation to contract award
• Coordinating with operational teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities
• Preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders
• Fostering strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
