Job Title: Senior Associate

 

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US Individual taxation and be able to provide exceptional service to our clients.

The primary role of a Senior Associate is to review moderate to complex tax returns prepared by Associates and Advanced associates. This involves fostering a collaborative relationship with associates and managers, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Display a good level of understanding of basic and moderate tax concepts on individual tax returns (1040), and continuously enhance tax knowledge for associates and advanced associates through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
  • Train and assist associates and advanced associates with their questions on day to day basis.
  • Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles and apply them appropriately on individual tax returns to fulfill client requirements.
  • Enhance teamwork and have the ability to communicate with the teams in India and in the US.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching abilities

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
