Job Description

As a Manager in our Global Business Tax Team, you will be responsible for managing tax advisory engagements independently with minimal supervision. This includes managing delivery of tax opinions and short notes on day-to-day clients' tax matters.

You will also be responsible for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings. Additionally, you will manage tax assessment and litigation proceedings before the assessing officer and higher appellate forums.

This role requires strong analytical skills, conceptual clarity, and an eye for detail. You should have experience in direct taxation and a strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Managing tax advisory engagements independently with minimal supervision
  • Managing delivery of tax opinions and short notes on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Responsible for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings
  • Managing tax assessment and litigation proceedings before the assessing officer and higher appellate forums
  • Training assistant and deputy managers and executives for their professional development

  • CA - 5-7 years' experience in direct taxation
