Piping Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an accomplished Piping Design Leader to oversee piping engineering work on greenfield and brownfield projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with experience in the oil and gas industry.

Job Summary

The Piping Design Leader will be responsible for providing technical leadership and decision-making for piping engineering work carried out by contractors. They will also liaise with clients' senior management on piping engineering progress and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Design Reviews: Participate in project safety and design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and constructible designs.
  • Clients Management: Liaise with clients' senior management to discuss piping engineering progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot piping designs and resolve issues with engineering or fabricators in a timely and efficient manner.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Engineering Background: 5+ years of experience working in an engineering design company with a focus on piping engineering.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in PMC/FEED teams with a successful track record of managing high-performing teams.
