Senior Test Engineer Job Details

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Test Engineer to join our team. With 6-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and developing manual and automated test cases for ETL pipelines using Python and Pytest.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure Data Factory, and CI/CD platforms such as Azure Devops and Github. Strong knowledge of testing frameworks, including Pytest, and programming languages like Python and SQL is also essential.

You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and developers to understand ETL and POWER BI specifications and data flow requirements. Your task will involve automating functional, regression, and performance tests of ETL workflows to ensure pipeline reliability.

Maintaining test automation frameworks, leveraging Pytest fixtures and libraries to validate Azure data factory activities, is also a key responsibility.

In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to document test plans, test cases, defects, and provide timely feedback on issues.
