System Operations Specialist

Role Overview:

As a seasoned technical professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of complex software systems. Your expertise in troubleshooting and resolving application performance issues will be instrumental in maintaining business continuity.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, leveraging your knowledge of system dynamics and data analysis to optimize system efficiency.

Through proactive monitoring and diligent analysis, you will enhance system reliability and performance, documenting findings and solutions for future reference.

Your contributions will have a direct impact on the overall success of our technology infrastructure, making your role critical to our organization's growth and development.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and CA APM to monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve performance issues, utilizing your expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into system performance.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of system logs and metrics to identify patterns and trends that inform optimization strategies.
  • Ensure seamless integration of APM tools with existing monitoring systems, streamlining our data collection and analytics processes.
  • Provide expert training and support to internal teams on APM usage, empowering them to make data-driven decisions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Extensive experience with AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and CA APM.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and IT service management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Appdynamics APM or equivalent technologies.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
