This is a part-time role based in Port Macquarie, Australia. The position involves delivering high-quality teaching and advancing rural medical education.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinating the Independent Learning Project (ILP) program to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Supporting research initiatives that contribute to the advancement of rural healthcare.
- Contributing to the academic education program at the campus, focusing on biomedical sciences and clinical medicine.
- A BMedMD, MBBS or equivalent medical degree with relevant professional expertise and eligibility for medical registration in NSW.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and professional accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, including development, delivery, and course convening at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- A strong commitment to rurally focused teaching and research to improve patient and local health care outcomes.
- A track record of successful collaboration with relevant authorities, professional organisations, research institutes, and health networks.
