Role Overview

A Study Abroad Counsellor is a highly motivated and experienced professional responsible for guiding students toward their global education dreams.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include counselling students on study-abroad options, admissions processes, and scholarship opportunities, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of universities & courses.

  • Provide expert advice to students on various study-abroad options, ensuring they make informed decisions that suit their academic and career goals.

  • Assist students in navigating the complex admissions process, including application documentation, test prep requirements, and visa processes.

  • Stay current with the latest developments in international education, including university programs, course offerings, and admission requirements.

  • Develop and deliver engaging seminars, webinars, and info sessions for prospective students and parents, showcasing the benefits of studying abroad.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Australian education consulting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and university representatives.

  • Passion for education and a commitment to helping others succeed.

  • A proactive and target-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
