Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented software quality engineer with strong experience in API testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Automate API testing for faster regression and continuous validation.
  • Design and document test cases, scenarios, and data based on business requirements.
  • Log, track, and manage bugs using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Build and manage test automation pipelines using Jenkins integrated within CI/CD workflows.
  • Use Visual Studio Code as primary IDE to develop and maintain automation scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in API testing, both manual and automated.
  • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and other test management tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML formats.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
