Job Title: Acquisitions Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Acquisitions Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying potential locations for new retail stores, evaluating property suitability, and negotiating lease terms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of local market conditions to identify potential locations for new retail stores.
  • Evaluate properties based on location, accessibility, and visibility to ensure they meet our business objectives.
  • Negotiate lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers to secure optimal deals.
  • Coordinate and manage communications with brokers and property inquiries to ensure timely responses.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements to avoid any potential risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations to ensure compliance and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze market trends and evaluate property options.
  • Detailed and organized with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to maintain accurate records and reports.
