Senior Data Science Lead

The organization is looking for a Senior Data Science Lead to spearhead its data-driven initiatives.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a graduate degree in a quantitative field and extensive experience in leading teams of data scientists and engineers. Your expertise in programming languages such as Python, along with your knowledge of popular libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn, will be invaluable.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong research skills, allowing you to interpret complex research papers and architecture diagrams. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in fine-tuning models using techniques such as LORA, RAG, and Instruct fine-tuning.

Experience in predictive modeling, particularly with Time Series, Multivariable, and Causal models, is highly valued. The ability to apply various machine learning techniques and understand key performance parameters is also essential.

Effective communication and leadership skills are necessary for success in this position, as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects is also a must.

Key responsibilities include connecting with subject matter experts to understand business requirements, coordinating data gathering efforts, creating project plans and sprints, and ensuring data quality through proactive checks.

Key activities include running relevant ML/DL algorithms, optimizing and validating models, creating light applications and simulators, testing codes pre-production, integrating and operationalizing models, and documenting project artifacts.
