Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join our team in the Alternative Investments and Private Equity Practice groups.

  • Reviewing operating agreements, letters of intent, purchase agreements, and other legal documentation related to tax transactions is a key responsibility for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Subchapter K and the ability to continuously develop professionally.
  • This position involves performing complete and efficient technical reviews of pass-through entity tax returns.
  • Gathering data from customers and/or third-party sources is an essential task for this role.
  • Performing basic tax research to support tax return positions is a critical skill for this Tax Senior.
  • Resolving open items/issues encountered on assigned engagements is a key aspect of this job.
  • Actively monitoring engagement economics by managing budgets and seeking efficiencies is a crucial responsibility.
  • Directing concurrent assignments to successful completion is a key expectation for this role.
  • Developing and leading associates through engagements, delegating tasks when appropriate, is a critical leadership skill.
  • Providing honest, objective, and constructive feedback to associates in a timely manner is essential for this role.
  • Collaborating to identify opportunities among existing customers is a key aspect of this job.
  • Serving as a mentor and role model through active participation in firm committees, departmental matters, and events is a critical responsibility.
  • Active in recruitment of new and experienced associates is a key expectation for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting or finance, significant progress toward EA License or CPA certification, and at least 3 years of recent public accounting firm experience.

Key skills include strong oral and written communication skills, effective analytical and problem-solving ability, strong time and work management skills, leadership and project/team management skills, and knowledge of CCH Axcess.
