We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging and immersive learning experiences, communications, marketing, and other assets that drive behavior change across the organization.

\

As a Motion Graphic Designer, you will work in a dynamic team of learning design professionals, supporting a wide range of programs that span both corporate and restaurant audiences globally, such as Leadership Development, Inclusion, Onboarding, Restaurant Curriculum, Corporate Development, Engagement, or Operations.

\

This role requires collaboration, listening, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences at scale while working with L&D teams and stakeholders.

\

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Direction, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or equivalent field. They will also have experience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structure, and knowledge of software/application/web development trends, graphic & video trends, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop course or marketing assets using various tools and technologies based on the course and design requirements.\
  • Organize and maintain creative assets, including videos, using best practices for version control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files.\
  • Take an initial concept to the next level with motion graphics and animations, including 2D and 3D animations.\
  • Work in close collaboration with stakeholders, designers, and marketing/communications colleagues throughout all phases of project development.\
  • Design and develop interactive content and interfaces, including games and simulations, in collaboration with designers that can support over 40 languages, including right-to-left.\
  • Ensure all graphics and visuals adhere to McDonald's branding guidelines and maintain consistency across all materials, while also creating a brand voice for each program.\
  • Continuously improve assets based on evaluation results, feedback, and changing business needs.\
  • Experience with Cinema 4D, basic videography/produciton skills: Attention to detail and accuracy, where applicable, create and manage templates for learning materials, presentations, and digital assets to standardize design processes, while also allowing for creativity.\
  • Design and develop images and videos that are engaging for a multi-cultural, multi-generation audience and can be translated in over 40 languages, including right-to-left.\
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop and in at least one 3D motion design tool such as Cinema 4D or similar.\
  • Ability to write well and communicate effectively across all layers of the organization.\
  • Open to learning new systems and processes.\
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.\
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn; self-starter.\
  • Continuous improvement and growth mindset.\
  • Knowledge of software/application/web development trends, graphic & video trends, regulations, and best practices are a plus.\
  • Software/application/web development expertise and skills are a plus.\
  • Basic videography/production skills are a plus.\
  • History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions.\
  • Design and develop content that is engaging for a multi-cultural, multi-generation audience and can be translated in over 40 languages, including right-to-left.\
  • Create mockups or wireframes to drive design with the design team. Tools used could include Adobe XD, PPT, etc.\
  • Graphics & Visual Design:\

    • Knowledge of various social media platforms and how to leverage videos, infographics, and more to engage with different audiences.\
    • Design and develop interactive graphics, videos, gifs, animations, and other visual assets for L&D programs and initiatives, including communications and marketing materials.\
    • Experience with live event and studio production, including setting a stage, lighting a set, and shooting footage w/video or still camera is a plus.\
    • Design and develop content that is engaging for a multi-cultural, multi-generation audience and can be translated in over 40 languages, including right-to-left.\
    • Where applicable, create and manage templates for learning materials, presentations, and digital assets to standardize design processes, while also allowing for creativity.\
    • Experience with animation-based projects.\
    • Attend workshops, training sessions, conferences, etc. to stay updated on latest developments, tools, and techniques related to your area of expertise.\
    • Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress on key deliverables.\
