Job Summary
The Senior Specialist SAP ABAP Developer - Manufacturing Focused will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and documenting development objects for Hollister's SAP environment. These objects include, but are not limited to, SAP ABAP programs, function modules, forms, and data dictionary items. This position requires a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming with experience in at least one Object-Oriented language. The Senior Specialist SAP ABAP Developer will also be responsible for designing and developing SAP solutions using newer SAP technologies like SAP S4/Hana (ABAP 7.4/7.5 & ABAP on HANA), Fiori, UI5, SAP Build, Pro-Code, RAP (RESTful Application Programming), CDS Views (Core-Data Services), OData, RF Transactions, ITS Mobile, Adobe Forms, Web Services, and RFCs Transactions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Partners with the Business, Business Analysts (BA), and/or the BRM (Business Relationship Manager) to brainstorm solution options and implement optimal technical approaches in SAP. Partners with the BA to resolve business problems and identify required documentation, data, and logic.
2. Effectively partners with other IT Groups to deliver IT Services, working closely with project managers within the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and the business. Estimates work packages in effort and duration, identifying training, travel, and resource requirements to deliver business requirements.
3. Assists and identifies avenues for continuous improvement for services within scope of responsibilities, including new approaches and processes that contribute to improvements within the department and to business growth and efficiencies.

Requirements
Minimum 7 years of SAP ABAP experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 11 years of experience with a high school diploma. Demonstrated significant global project success. Hands-on experience working in a dynamic environment in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, or an Enterprise with multiple global locations, integrating with multiple enterprise systems and applications. Developing SAP programs, or updating existing programs, by researching technical / programmatic / SAP extension options, reviewing functional specifications, and deciding on the best technical approach based on technical best practices while keeping the SAP Core-Clean. Programming in SAP with proper error handling and logging, advancing these frameworks aligned to the evolving needs. Debugging and troubleshooting any SAP programs effectively and with speed. Defines SAP coding standards and best practices tailored to the overall enterprise. Hands-on experienced with SAP technologies application to Manufacturing: modules including but not limited to ME/MII. Programming Skills: All WRICEF objects, ECC 6.0 ABAP, New ABAP 7.4/7.5, ABAP on HANA, RESTful ABAP Programming Model, CDS Views, OData, ITS Mobile, Webservices Programming, UI5, Reports (List, Interactive & ALV), Function Modules including RFCs (Remote Function Calls), User Exits / BADI's / Enhancement Spots, Classes, Methods and Interfaces, Dialog/Module Pool Programming for building Custom Transactions, RF Console Transaction Development, Data Dictionary, LSMW, Interface Programming, ALE/EDI/IDOC Technologies, Web Services and ABAP Proxies, SAPScripts, Smartforms, Adobe Forms. Minimum 2-3 years: SAP ME/MII Developer (At least 3 years of experience with SAP ME/MII Technical Development). Minimum 1-2 Years: An Object-Oriented language, preferably Object-Oriented ABAP or Java. S4/Hana exposure. Extended Warehouse Management Programming (including Handling Units). SAP Extended Warehouse Management in S4/Hana. Preferences: BRF+.
