About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ABAP developer to join our team at SAP. As an ABAP developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications using the ABAP programming language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of highly technical and motivated developers to design and implement software applications.
  • Collaborate with teams spread across geographies and time zones to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using ABAP, including analysis, specification, design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of customer-specific solutions.
  • Implement backlogs for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Write efficient modules that drive complex business applications and automated tests.
  • Adhere to agile engineering practices and processes followed by the team.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in software development in skills listed below.
  • Strong programming background of/Experience S4, ABAP, CDS, ODATA, HANA Database, BOPF, RAP.
  • Good understanding of cloud native architecture & development.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud-based development using ABAP on cloud, AWS or Azure. Experience on Kubernetes or any other container technologies.
  • Experience in REST API creation and consumption.
  • Good knowledge of Git, UI5/JavaScript, Jenkins, Java Spring and Spring boot Frameworks.
  • Have an urge to learn and experiment with new technologies.
  • Excellent communication in English.
