Compliance Governance Specialist

We are seeking a Compliance Governance Specialist to join SK Finance Ltd.
Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the company's compliance program is effective in mitigating risks and maintaining regulatory adherence. This includes monitoring certificates submitted by departments, identifying compliance gaps, and assisting in formalizing and updating compliance certificates.
A key aspect of this role is conducting annual and ongoing compliance risk assessments to identify critical functions and departments from a compliance perspective. Additionally, the Compliance Governance Specialist will assist in handling department queries on regulatory matters, provide resolutions, and conduct reviews to ensure the sustenance of compliance.
In terms of new products deployed by the company, the Compliance Governance Specialist will review them for a period of 6 months to ensure adherence to requirements. Similarly, control deployments for mitigating compliance risks will also be reviewed for a period of 6 months from the date of deployment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to train staff on compliance matters. They will also be responsible for periodically circulating instances of compliance failures among staff, along with required preventive instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain MIS/dashboards for onward submission to senior management/board
- Effectively deploy compliance tools and ensure end-to-end closure within prescribed timelines
- Ensure adherence to compliance policy and related SOPs
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law or business administration, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in compliance governance or a related field.
